**Here’s what your day to day will look like as a Surveyor**:

- Collect, transfer, calculate and layout the surveying data using specialised instruments in order to produce drawings and delimit projected constructions
- Provide data relative to the alignment, elevation, orientation and dimensions of different lands or infrastructures such as industrial or commercial facilities, buildings, etc.
- Recognizing and updating information related to the surveyor’s position
- Collaborate with the foreman and superintendent to optimize operations
- Responsible for the leveling of different types of slabs (flat and sloping)
- Determine and provide elevations for the concrete pouring
- All other related tasks

**What you’ll need**:

- CCQ Competency Card and the ASP certification including Simdut 2015 (Gatineau region)

And/or

Working at Height, Awareness in 4 Steps, and Whmis 2015 certification (Ottawa region)
- College degree in building surveying (an asset)
- Experience as a building surveyor in the construction industry (an asset)
- Experience with the required IT equipment (softwares, calculators, etc.)
- Means to move about Ottawa’s greater region
