**The Role**
As a Learning & Development Specialist within the Growth organization, you will be responsible for empowering our sales teams by creating and delivering impactful training programs. Your strategic approach will involve conducting needs assessments, designing tailored employee development content, and coordinating in-person sessions to ensure ongoing skill development. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, your expertise in adult learning theory, learning management systems, and business sense will drive the success of our sales teams by equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve consistently strong performance.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Work hand-in-hand with the Director of Growth and Vice President of Activations to ensure the sales teams are equipped with what they need to be successful.
- Conduct regular needs assessments to identify gaps in skills, knowledge, and performance among sales teams. Work with management and team leaders to prioritize training requirements.
- Develop and create engaging, impactful training materials, resources, and content, ensuring they meet the needs of the sales teams and align with business objectives. Use various delivery methods (eLearning, workshops, knowledge tests, simulations, etc.) to create diverse training experiences.
- Support employees through their journey from onboarding, to new product introductions, and skills development.
- Offer ongoing support for the sales team’s development by answering questions, providing resources, and offering coaching as needed. Tailor training programs to address specific challenges or objectives within the sales department.
- Monitor training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics. Provide regular reports to leadership on the success of training programs and suggest/implement improvements based on feedback and results.
**Who we are looking for**:
- You have an extremely high attention to detail, yet can successfully balance speed and efficiency
- You are skilled in various training/content development tools such as Articulate, Storyline, VYOND, or similar programs
- You love to solve problems with an analytical approach
- You are proactive, very organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work environment
- You take ownership of your work and outcomes
- You have creative problem-solving skills with a willingness to test solutions and iterate as required
- You are resourceful and able to react quickly and professionally in high-pressure situations
- You're an effective communicator with strong organizational skills
- You handle critical feedback well and are able to adjust your developed content to fit the ever-changing needs of the business
- Experience in financial services or with financial products is an asset
