The College’s 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students, including hundreds of international students from countries around the world, attend at campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Haliburton and Cobourg. Fleming offers more than 100 full-time programs in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, Fine Arts, General Arts and Science, Technology, Skilled Trades, Community Development, Health, Business, and Justice as well as other Continuing Education courses.

As a Contract Faculty member you will play a key role by promoting academic excellence, and developing an effective learning environment. Your previous working experiences will provide a broad range of practical knowledge to enhance the student learning experience. Contract Faculty may teach in teams or independently and deliver curriculum in a variety of ways including face-to-face (lectures, seminars, labs) and online.
The School of Business is looking for Contract Faculty with the following qualifications, to teach in its Supply Chain Management - Global Logistics program.
- Degree in related field
- 5 or more years of professional work experience in supply chain management with several large companies dealing with international suppliers or customers.
- Supply chain operations experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous teaching experience
- CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) Designation
- CCLP Designation
- CCI Certification (Certified CIFFA Instructor)
- CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or actively working towards it.
- Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma processes (via green and/or black belts)
- Schedule flexibility to accommodate the weekly delivery pattern of this course is required.
