We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented CNC Machinist who will be responsible for setting-up and operating of CNC Mill to cut various sizes of metal work components according to customer specifications and requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and Interpret drawings
- Set up and operate CNC Mill Machine
- Inspect and prepare raw material if required
- Inspect parts and verify dimensions using standard instruments
- Ensure all quality control measures are being followed at all the times
- Maintain cleanliness of machine and working area
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on the machine
- Use equipment safely and responsibility to ensure safety of everyone
- Works in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Regulations and proper use of PPE

**Suitability requirements**:

- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Able to work independently as well as a team player
- Detailed oriented, accountable for producing accurate parts to meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic, problem solving skills, and positive team attitude

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma as a CNC Machinist or related field
- 1 year or more experience as a CNC Machinist
- Manufacturing or Machine shop experience is a must
- Expereince with one-off, custom precision parts
- In depth knowledge of machining
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM
- Experience with surface grinding is an asset
- Excellent Communication skills required

**Own Tools/Equipment**:

- Steel Toe Safety Shoes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
