Insurance Operations Specialist, Vendor Operations

Audi Finance and Volkswagen Finance offers a wide range of leasing, retail financing and protection plans expertly tailored to meet the needs of our Customers. Additionally, we provide commercial financing products to Audi and Volkswagen Dealers to support expanding dealership capabilities and enhancing overall operations.

VWFS Protection Services Inc., a whole owned subsidiary of VW Credit Inc., provides a range of vehicle protection products, including Vehicle Service Contacts, GAP and Excess Lease Wear Waivers, to U.S. VW, Audi and Ducati customers.

Role Summary

The Insurance Operations Specialist Vendor Operations - NAR will be part of the North American Region (NAR) Insurance and Protection Services team and will support the attainment of the NAR Insurance yearly revenue and sales targets through the ongoing operational management of all structures and processes related to insurance and service products in collaboration with hired third-party administrators (“TPA”) and other external service providers.

This role is critical to the success of the program through the development and maintenance of internal business processes that are customer-oriented, compliant, value focused and profit/growth oriented.

This role will work closely with the hired administrators and other service providers to manage structural setup, program operations, reporting, claims processing, issue resolution, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Designated Responsible Producer for VCCI agency business, including operational management of insurance partnerships.
- Manage all other NAR Insurance vendor relationships pertaining to sales and contract management, external insurance, dealer reinsurance, consulting and reporting / data management.
- Oversee the implementation and quality of operational processes in TPA organizations.
- Oversee and manage Service Level Agreements with TPA and other vendors.
- In cooperation with the Vendor Risk Management function, maintain a schedule of periodic vendor assessments, and conduct vendor audits including development of recommendation for issue resolution.
- Manage the NAR Insurance SG&A budget including reporting, forecasting and annual planning rounds.

**Required Qualifications**
- University degree or equivalent experience required
- Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) Level II License
- Project Management Certification / PMP an asset

**Experience**
- 2+ years of licensed agent experience in Canada
- 7+ years of OEM/Financial Services experience related to automotive and/or financial products and services with a focus on operations, business process management and data management.
