Air Freight Cargo Coordinator

Mississauga, Canada Maple Supply Chain Management Inc. Full time

This position will be stationed in airport and responsible for coordinate all Air Import Freight activities by liaising with both internal & external parties, including but not limited to air carriers, ramp agents and co-workers, to ensure the operational excellence & high productivity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all Air Import/Export Freight activities to ensure all cargo goods are imported properly.
- Represent airlines to communicate with GTAA, ramp agent, truckers, warehouse contact, etc. as required.
- Issue IATA & CASS reports as required.
- Prepare internal documentations & reports and properly keep all records updated.
- Comply with all Canada customs, IATA and Transport Canada regulations and requirements.
- Verify weights and dimensions of cargo.
- Handle requirement for dangerous or controlled goods and ensure to have proper export-controlled permits and licenses.
- Physically screen cargo based on Transport Canada requirements and become an Authorized Cargo Administrator if required.
- Some light warehouse duties as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Years of experience in air industry preferably with airlines, ground handling agents or cargo terminals.
- Good communication & problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- Knowledge of air carriers and schedules.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt quickly changing business needs.
- Knowledge of Distribution and Warehouse operations is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.

**Salary**:$45,000 -$55,000 per year
