The Youth Learning Health System Innovation Group (YLHSIG) in the McCain Centre is a new research enterprise focused on generating new knowledge, creating system transformation and developing innovative methodologies within community-based, integrated youth service settings.

The YLHSIG is seeking a Casual Scientific Associate with experience working in Learning Health Systems contexts to support a project which will optimize mental health for youth across Canada by developing a secure, state-of-the-art Integrated Youth Services (IYS) data platform and IYS data federation in two provinces, Ontario (i.e., YWHO) and British Columbia (i.e., Foundry). The Scientific Associate will play a key role in supporting end of grant activities for a Health Canada funded project and start-up activities for a CIHR funded expansion project. This role requires a high degree of collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, including people with lived experience. The Scientific Associate will report to the Director for scientific/academic matters, and to the Manager for administrative matters.

The successful applicant will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. This role will require some travel and evening hours. This position is located at 80 Workman Way.
