On the job training from the ground up to the treetops through the Asplundh Canada Training Standard is completed with every employee. **Requirements**:

- **MUST** have 1+ years’ experience climbing and/or operating aerial bucket truck, chipper, handheld tools, power tools, pruners, and other specialized tools.
- Documented hours of experience working aloft in an aerial bucket truck and/or climbing while in close proximity of energized electrical lines.
- Standard First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and Electrical Awareness training.
- Chainsaw Safety, Bucking, and Felling near Powerlines or equivalent training.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence as a minimum, Class 3 with air brake endorsement preferred.
- Able to work as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
- Own transportation to a common meeting area.

**Location**
- Various throughout Atlantic Canada, travel for extended periods of time will be essential.

**Please note the work schedule for this position has the potential to alternate between a 5 day work week or a 10 days on/ 4 days off schedule**

**Salary**: $19.50-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- trimming / climbing around energized electrical lines: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Driver's Licence at a minimum (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (required)
