We are a busy manufacturer in Southeast Edmonton. We are seeking aa journeyman or 4th year apprentice machinist to join our team. Must be detail-oriented and enjoy a variety of work in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a small team.

RESPONSIBITIES
- Follow any machining or assembly instructions and job-related duties as required by operations manager
- Lay out, prepare and assemble steel and metal components, bar, plate, tubes and other materials.
- Machine components, plates, cylinders, brakes and similar products, while safely operating CNC lathe and milling machines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Experience with Haas, Hurco Fanuc and Siemens equipment controls ideal but not required
- Ability to work within very close tolerances.
- Must be physically fit and able to use proper lifting techniques to occasionally lift items up to 75 lbs.
- Overhead crane experience preferred.
- Good manual dexterity
- Good vision (glasses are acceptable)
- Ability to concentrate on detailed work
- Positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.

**Salary**: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
