**Description**:
The mold maker will report to the shop foreman and may also receive direction from the mold maker leader. A mold maker primary function is to build molds and directed by Unique Tool & Gauge and complete all associated tasks to meet customer targets and deadlines.

**Summary of Duties**:

- Function within a team within the mold making department
- Assist in the construction of complex new molds
- Complete builds according to the mold making processes
- Build plastic injection molds and repair
- Ability to meet customer targets and deadlines as required by management
- Ability to provide hands-on work with all related equipment, including but not limited to: mills, lathes, grinders.
- Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinates with other departments within the shop (i.e. CNC, CMM, etc).
- Able to troubleshoot and repair molds correctly with assistance from team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Willing to take on responsibility for all aspects of the mold manufacturing
- Ability to multitask and prioritize several competing and complex projects
- Asks questions as needed and seeks guidance
- Follows all safety protocols
