As a full-time **Account Manager, **you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer experience, engaging the customer from the moment you enter their establishment to engage in wine tastings.
**Must Have**:
- All applicants must be the minimum age of 19 with a flexible availability
- Must have a valid license and clean driving record with own car
- The position is FULL TIME with Flexible work hours.
- Occasional evening events occurring during winemaker visits.
- Proven track record with demonstrated sales and customer service skills.
- High School or equivalent education required.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Must be able to enthusiastically interact with customers to drive sales.
- Meet the physical demands of a retail environment including lifting cases of wine on occasion.
**KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Setting Sales Unit Strategy
- Establishing a plan to achieve the Retail channel sales objectives, taking into consideration overall business and sales goals, market opportunities, past sales results, and available resources; reviewing progress and adjusting the plan as needed.
- Making Sales Operations Decisions
- Making day to day decisions required to manage the sales cycle
- Securing and comparing information from multiple sources to identify key issues.
- Committing to an action after weighing alternative solutions against important decision criteria.
- Organizing and following up on sample drop offs
- Driving for Results/Raising the Bar
- tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals while deriving satisfaction from that achievement and continuous improvement.
- Guiding Sales Opportunities/Business Acumen
- Developing strategic sales solutions with a focus on growth year over year.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Communication - clearly and succinctly conveying information and ideas to individuals and groups in a variety of situations, communicating in a focused and compelling way that drives others’ thoughts and actions.
- Building Trusting Relationships - using appropriate interpersonal styles to establish effective relationships with restaurant partners and internal partners; interacting with others in a way that promotes openness and trust and gives them confidence in one’s intentions.
- Creating a Service Reputation - Crafting and implementing service practices that meet customers’ and own organization’s needs; using appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to resolve difficult customer situations and regain customer confidence.
- Formal Presentation - Presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups when given time to prepare; delivering presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, supervisory or team lead experience in a related or complementary field.
- Strong time management and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-Initiated
- Proactive problem solver
- Experience in digital marketing and community management preferred
- Experienced in outside sales
- Industry knowledge pertaining to wine industry
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Any other spirit, wine or beer training preferred (WSET, CSS).
**You Will**:
Assist in product tastings. Engage 2-5 restaurant accounts per day with an expectation to sample - explain and confirm orders of new as existing products.
- Receive Regular wine samples to further your education and knowledge and enjoy with your family and friends
- No commission Cap with built in incentives
