We also operate in the Aviation sector, where Babcock ensures that the aircrew trainees of our partner nations receive the world’s best flying training. We deliver vital aerial emergency services and are proud to have been selected by the Government of Manitoba to deliver their wildfire suppression services, as well as key components of their critical air ambulance services.

- In this role, you will:_
- Manage an array of projects in support of the sustainment of Canada’s fleet of Victoria Class Submarines. These projects vary from modifications to the submarines through to management of new process initiatives in support of the wider Submarine Enterprise
- Be an integral member of a first-class Project Management team
- Be responsible to the Sustainment Projects Team Senior Manager for the delivery of your assigned projects
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with submarine project customers and sustainment project stakeholders
- Assist with the development of sub-contracts with procurement sub-contract managers in support of the assigned projects
- Ensure compliance with all working practices within the project, paying particular attention to corporate procedures, safety standards, and local project specific procedures as necessary
- Ensure all Quality and Health & Safety standards are maintained and communicate Health and Safety issues as required
- Other duties as assigned
- University Degree or College diploma in Project Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing with the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- 4 to 8 years’ experience in successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Positive, resilient, and focused qualities
- You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
