**Job Summary**
In this role, you will not only be responsible for providing **delicious and safe meals** to our guests, but you will also have the opportunity to **actively participate in menu development and contribute new ideas**. As part of our culinary team, you’ll be encouraged to use your creativity and passion to craft new dishes that highlight **Japanese ingredients and techniques**.
Maintaining **food safety standards and a clean, organized kitchen** is also a key part of this position.

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and handling practices.
- Monitor food quality during cooking processes to ensure flavor, texture, and presentation meet standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal service.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
**Skills**
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Knowledgeable about food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
- Experience in the food industry, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members.
- A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
