Studio Associate

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the front desk with phone answering, new inquiry, students’ registration.
- Prepare and maintain studio’s files and record, both physical and digital.
- Assemble, gather, and prepare a variety of technical and administrative material such as notices, reports, etc.
- Monitor students and employees’ check-in & check-out.
- Take care of fees collection, little bookkeeping & data entry.
- Communicate with parents and instructors, compiling class lists.
- Assist with attendance updating and art material inventory.
- Provide general preparation assistance to the Instructor and the studio.
- Supporting the team with deliver of the projects, workshops and special events when required.
- Assist with web, newsletter template / content, graphics for social media.
- Organizing and cleaning the classroom as well as the office.
- Perform other duties as required by the studio.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: High School Graduate, or some Undergraduate education in BA/BFA or similar field

**Skill**:

- Great communication and problem-solve skills.
- Effective organizational skills and multi-task skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Chinese.

**Ability**:

- An interest in the arts and in developing community connections through the arts.
- An ability to meet schedule deadlines independently as well as work within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situation, and strong work ethic.
- Motivation to take initiative, attention to details and prioritize.
- Proficiency with computer software including MS Office, Adobe Creative an asset.
- Be patient working with children and focus on details.
- Be able to follow direction, work with a sense of urgency and energy, and quick adaption.
- Experience in Administrative area, or a similar role within an office setting is an asset.
- A valid BC driver’ license; Must be able to work evening and weekend.

Working Conditions: This is a non-seasonal Full-Time Position works on weekends and afternoons/evenings (Monday to Saturday)
