Retail Cannabis Store Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of sales associates
- Ensure that all employees are following all compliance regulations, policies, and procedures related to the sale and distribution of cannabis
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay informed of industry developments and trends
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the store's overall performance
- Ensure that the store is well-maintained and visually appealing, and that all displays are updated regularly
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, and order products as needed to ensure that customers have access to a wide selection of products
- Manage financial performance by tracking sales, controlling costs, and ensuring that budgets are met
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to develop marketing and promotional programs that drive customer traffic and increase sales
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in retail management, with a focus on customer service and sales
- Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry and regulations related to the sale and distribution of cannabis products
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team of sales associates
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to analyze financial reports and data to make informed decisions and improve store performance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and employees
- Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to providing customers with a high-quality shopping experience
- Cannsell & Retail Manager License (preferred)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Retail management: 2 years (preferred)
