Trans Mountain operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 300,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta and British Columbia, and 111 kilometres of pipeline in Washington state.

Reporting to the Manager Drafting & GIS, this position will be based in our Calgary office and will be responsible for indexing physical documents for file transfers to an off-site facility. This role will work with both our Engineering & Drafting and Information Management (IM) teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Following established procedures, index, and box physical files for long term offsite retention.
- Liaise with team members on the assignment of record retention codes and other metadata.
- Upload indexed data to the Iron Mountain Connect System.
- Arrange for pick-up of indexed, boxed records by Iron Mountain
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements and Experience**
- Experience and knowledge of documents in a technical environment or energy company is an asset.
- Strong computer skills within a MS Office environment (including MS Excel),
- Can lift up-to 30 pounds (boxes of documents)
- Experience in using archival storage facility systems (Iron Mountain Connect) is considered an asset.
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate initiative.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, and follow through with assigned tasks under limited supervision.

In British Columbia, the system crosses the traditional territories of numerous First Nations that are affiliated with the Secwepemc, Dakelh (Carrier), Nlaka'pamux, Syilx/Okanagan, Interior and Coast Salish, Stó:lo, as well as the Métis.
