Summer Job Opportunity at Shadow Lake Camp - Community Living Toronto

Here is an opportunity to join a dynamic team who come together each summer to provide memorable, meaningful, and fun camp experiences for guests with intellectual disabilities.

Owned and operated by Community Living Toronto, Shadow Lake is a bustling summer home-away-from-home for over 500 guests with special needs and about 100 staff members.

We have the following position available with our Gardening staff. Duties include:

- Equipment and facility maintenance and repairs
- All lawn care services including mowing, line trimming, raking and garden maintenance
- Collection of garbage and recycling
- Minor painting
- Water testing in the splash pad

Experience in working with people with disabilities is beneficial but not required. We provide skill-building and training opportunities and are always looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated staff.

Training and on-line orientation is provided. Everyone is required to obtain a police check prior to starting work.

Being COVID 19 vaccinated is a condition of employment with Community Loving Toronto. Every effort will be made for you to receive the vaccine in a timely manner as being an essential worker within the Developmental Sector.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Rapid antigen testing minimum 2-3 times per week
