**Role**:We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to drive sales objectives through an organized plan with measurable goals. This role includes managing independent sales agents, generating product demand, and identifying business opportunities within the customer base. The representative will collaborate with team members throughout the sales process and use value-add selling techniques to build long-term customer relationships. Staying current on product information and industry trends is essential, as is monitoring competitive pressures. Regular one-on-one reviews with sales agents will enhance communication and identify areas for improvement. Strong time management skills are necessary for frequent travel, along with the technical expertise to support our innovative offerings.

**Location**: Media Graph offices located at 300 Montée de Liesse, Montréal, Québec, Canada H4t 1N9.

**Objectives of this role**:

- Reporting to the Manager of the architectural lighting division (“TLS”), will be responsible to develop a territory in the North American market.
- The position relies on on a broad experience (sales and lighting) and judgement to plan and accomplish sales goals.
- Regional sales managers are successful with prospecting and qualifying clients, ultimately building a sustainable pipeline to increase sales year over year.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and follow sales objectives by organizing a sales plan with measured goals.
- Manage a group of independent sales agents and ensure sales are met or exceeded.
- Be responsible for generating demand in products and identifying business opportunities with reps and within customer base.
- Work closely with other members of the team to ensure full engagement in the entire sales process.
- Strive to achieve long-term relationships with customers by ‘value-add’ selling techniques.
- Keep up to date on product information and industry trends.
- Monitor competitive trends and pressures within territory.
- Ability to design and effectively implement both short-term and long-term business strategies.
- Conducts one-on-one review with all Sales Agents to build more effective communications, to understand and develop needs, and to provide insights for the improvement of sales.
- Maintains contact with all customers in the territory area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- University degree or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Sales Management.
- Existing relationships with specifiers, distributors, and other customers.
- Lighting experience is an asset.
- Detailed oriented, sensitive to customer needs and company requirements.
- Results oriented with strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate technical data, features and benefits.
- Personable positive attitude.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work individually and as a team.
- Ability to learn and develop sales strategies that clearly define goals, strategies/tactics, and metrics for measuring success.
- Ability to manage all aspects of the relationship between the customers and industry partners.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within the territory, valid passport in force.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
