**POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP**

The PDF will oversee the creation of a lay-accessible summary of archival materials local to Hamilton (for e.g., at Hamilton Health Sciences and Hamilton Public Library Local History and Archives) related to the Indigenous histories of the Hamilton Sanatorium and Mohawk Institute Residential School. They will lead the scheduling and organizing of meetings with community organizations in Hamilton, Six Nations and other locations. The PDF will assist in the writing and submission of a SSHRC Partnership Development grant. They will also provide training and management of a graduate research assistant.

**Annual Salary**:

- $60,000 CAD per year + benefits. This position is included within the Canadian Union of Public Employees (“CUPE”) Local 3906 Unit 3, representing Post-Doctoral Fellows.

**Qualifications**:

- You will have completed a PhD program within the last five years (not including parental leaves, etc) preceding the initial appointment start date.
