The Organization

Edmonton Community Foundation (ECF), part of a comprehensive network of Canadian community foundations, acts as a bridge between donors and greater Edmonton charities to help create and maintain a strong, vibrant community for generations to come.

Through permanent endowment funds, the Foundation disburses grants annually to greater Edmonton charities. As well, the Foundation takes a direct role in selected community initiatives that help further the vision of a strong community.

The Opportunity - Donor Grants Associate

Reporting to the Donor Engagement Lead, the Donor Grants Associate plays a key role in the coordination of the granting process for donor advised funds ($15 - 20 million per annum). This includes, stakeholder engagement (existing and new donors), working within the Donor Services Department, and the utilization of ECF’s data systems to support the granting process. The role is focused on stewardship and relationship development by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with existing endowment fund donors through assistance with their philanthropic objectives. Specific duties include, providing donors with granting options, orientating new donors to access and use the ECF Donor Portal and by maintaining timely, appropriate, and exceptional donor service and care.

This position is based at Hilltop House in downtown Edmonton. Free parking is available.
