Millwork Labourer

We are expanding our production group with a new opening for a Millwork Labourer to join our exceptional woodworking team. This job is an entry-level position that will support our cabinetmakers and plays a crucial role in supporting our woodshop’s day-to-day production.

To start, you’ll help keep the shop clean, organize materials, pack outgoing shipments, and assist with moving equipment and materials—in other words, you’ll get to know the ins and outs of our production shop and how things work. After a while, if you perform well (and enjoy the job), there is potential to be introduced to some of our shop machinery and move into a more specialized woodworking role.

Above all, we want the person we hire to have a **passion** for working with wood. We also would like them to be able to show **experience** working with fine woodworking tools, but not limited to table saws, edgebanders, sanding machines, mitre saws, shapers, routers, planers, and jointers. Experience loading sheets and unloading finished parts from a CNC machine would be helpful.

A typical work week at our shop extends from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm daily. We offer great pay, an excellent benefits package, two weeks off in the summer and a week off between Christmas and New Year’s.
