Pizza Maker

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Handle food safely and adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper storage and sanitation practices.
- Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions effectively.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in food preparation and cooking roles.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential for maintaining a safe working environment.
- Strong skills in serving, meal preparation, and food handling are highly valued.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to learn new techniques in pizza making are important traits for success in this role.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- New Minas, NS B4N 3E5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
