Kildare Renovations is looking to hire a **Plaster Painter**. Kildare is a Custom Renovations Specialist construction company focusing on commercial and residential properties, from kitchen renovations to commercial buildings to single-family homes. **The Role**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling cracks and holes, and sanding rough areas
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and textures
- Ensure proper coverage and thickness of paint layers for an even finish
- Repair damaged plaster and paint surfaces as needed
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself and others on the job site
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Collaborate with team members, including contractors, designers, and other tradespeople, to ensure project requirements are met
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions related to painting and plastering
**The Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Plaster Painter, preferably in a construction or painting company
- Familiarity with surface preparation techniques, including sanding, filling cracks, and priming
- Strong color sense and ability to mix and match paint colors
- Attention to detail and ability to achieve a high-quality finish
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and practices in the painting industry
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
