**Project Coordinator Role Description**

**Job Title: Sales Associate/Project Coordinator**

**Company: Inlet Marine, Port Moody, BC**

**Work Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday**

Inlet Marine is seeking an organized and motivated individual to join our Sales team as a Sales Associate/Project Coordinator. The individual will be responsible for managing various aspects of our operations, ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience operating boats and previous marine experience is an asset.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Sales and Client Relations**:

- Sell Mercury outboards and aluminum boats.
- Manage engine deliveries and final boat inspections.
- Coordinate and oversee boat repowers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for boat building contracts.
- Schedule and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Perform final inspections and detailing of boats before delivery.

**Inventory and Financial Management**:

- Oversee Mercury co-op dollars, motor registrations, and inventory counts.
- Manage company clothing inventory and distribution.

**Marketing and Event Planning**:

- Plan and execute social media marketing strategies.
- Organize and manage company participation in trade shows.

**Communication and Coordination**:

- Utilize Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and other software for project coordination and communication.
- Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

**Qualifications**:
Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously manage tasks and ensure accuracy in all aspects of the job.

Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with outboard engines or willingness to acquire necessary training.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and other relevant software.

Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Willingness to Learn: Open to acquiring new skills and training as needed.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Assist in managing logistics for boat deliveries and other company operations.
- Support the team with any ad-hoc tasks related to marine operations.

**Employment Type**:
This is a full-time position.

**Compensation**:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with benefits including health insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation, sick pay, monthly lunch day provided by the company, potential for overtime hours.

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
