Rayjans Windows and Doors is in search of an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing Construction company located in Cornwall. This is a full-time/permanent role on-site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Compile and enter payroll data; post wage and reconcile errors to maintain payroll records
- Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
- Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage for each employee to update master payroll records
- Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees
- Enter new employee information into the software
- Accounts Receivables and Accounts payable functions
- Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements using computerized systems
- Code, total, batch, enter, verify, and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions and bank statements;
- Participate in and adhere to all Health & Safety policies and regulations
- Provide bookkeeping services which encompasses the following; banking services, cash management, preparation of cash receipts and cash disbursement summaries, preparation of financial statements, completion and filing of government forms for multiple clients
- Record data on accounting software
- Monthly reporting - payroll, GST, HST, WSIB, EHT, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Bilingualism is a strong asset
- 1+ year experience in accounting or payroll
- Experience with Quickbooks is an asset
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Great attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Position is based the Cornwall office
- Punctual and team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
