The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Video Production to join ApplyBoard’s Video Production Team within the Marketing Department. As a senior member of the team, you’ll be responsible for leading the planning, production, and editing of industry-leading videos that propel us closer to our journey of educating the world. What you’ll be doing every day:
- Collaboratively manage and execute ApplyBoard’s comprehensive multimedia content production strategy to support departmental and company-wide objectives- Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals including Associate Producers, Videographers and Editors including weekly 1:1s, quarterly reviews, and KPIs- Collaborate with the Manager in setting goals and milestones for team growth and improving the quality of video content at ApplyBoard- Develop and pitch creative concepts that align with video team strategy and company objectives- Write compelling scripts that drive the desired outcome for a project- Take ownership of the video production schedule and resourcing for various shoots, overseeing all aspects from concept development to post-production & delivery- Assist in the tracking of analytics alongside the Manager, Video Production- Review videos ahead of stakeholders to ensure all videos follow brand guidelines, meet standards, support objectives, and positively reflect our brand- Work closely with members of the Marketing Team, including Managers and Creatives, to provide multimedia support on project and initiativesWhat you bring to the table:
- A college degree or university diploma in video production, broadcasting, interactive media, marketing, digital marketing, or a related field- Experience in video production and post-production focused role at a technology and/or high-growth company- People management experience in a high-paced production environment- Extensive videography, photography, script writing, and post-production knowledge as well as demonstrated practical experience- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment for multimedia production- Experience sourcing audio, recording audio, and editing audio- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering quality video projects in a timely manner- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as a leader on cross-functional collaborative teams- An eye for detail and design aesthetics
