**C|Prime Modern Italian Steak & Wine **is an award-winning upscale restaurant located in the Century Plaza Hotel.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a hybrid role, as **Assistant Restaurant Manager & Events Coordinator**. This role combines two key functions within our restaurant**:overseeing the breakfast service** and **managing reservations, promotions, and events.**

A typical workday in this position will consist of a combination of on-the-floor service management (7 AM - 11 AM), and events, promotions and marketing coordination (11 AM - 3 PM). The incumbent will consistently pursue and generate new business opportunities and ensure repeat business, to help maximize sales and revenue. They will also be the point-of-contact for all restaurant group and event business, ensuring an outstanding group guest experience from start to finish.

**Responsibilities**:
**Breakfast Service (7 AM - 11 AM)**:

- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the breakfast shift to ensure smooth operations;
- Supervise the FOH team during breakfast, including servers and kitchen staff, to maintain high service standards;
- Address and resolve any guest issues that may arise, ensuring an exceptional dining experience;
- Ensure the dining room is set up properly and running efficiently, meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation;
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any needs for breakfast service;
- Help with training new staff and work with their feedback.

**Reservations & Events (11 AM - 3 PM)**:

- Handle incoming reservations and maintain an accurate and organized reservation system;
- Assist in the coordination of promotions, special events, and group bookings;
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and Chef to ensure events are executed seamlessly;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and positive guest feedback;
- Assist in preparing for events, including setting up rooms and ensuring AV and other equipment are operational;
- Update promotional materials and menus as needed;
- Reach out to possible new leads to boost the restaurant's sales.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles;
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a passion for customer service;
- Knowledge of reservation systems (such as OpenTable and Oracle) and event planning;
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently, working well under pressure;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the restaurant, with a proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus.
