The Winter Village is in need of a **Village Production Manager** to ensure our entire site - kitchens, store rooms, public areas, bars and shops - are in perfect working condition. If you enjoy jumping in to help others, making a site run seamlessly and anticipating and resolving issues before they happen - this role could be ideal for you

**Here's what the Village offers its Production Manager**:

- $30 per hour
- Daily staff meals

**Here’s what you’ll do**:

- Support and partner with all food and shop stall partners and corporate sponsors.
- Physically manage all stalls, outdoor areas, kitchens and facility storage areas.
- Provide leadership, including training as directed for set-up, operation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, documentation, and seamless operation of all Winter Village areas.
- Meet required standards and have an excellent working knowledge of the rules and regulations applicable to the Winter Village site.
- Daily responsibility for any installation, set-up, operation, testing and equipment on the site.
- Responsible for overseeing that all equipment is maintained in good order and being used properly.
- Attend to preventive maintenance and routine repair of equipment and systems, verifying all documentation is maintained and on file as necessary.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of all work areas.
- Provide feedback of equipment challenges and any issues relating to consumable items to verify good stock control.
- Discuss any potentially outstanding items with the DWV team so that a solution can be planned and executed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Here’s our Wish List for our Village Production Manager**:

- Experience as a technician, preferably in a festival or outdoor entertainment setting
- Previous experience in a technical leadership role is strongly preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving challenges.
- Ability to troubleshoot and thrive under tight timelines, quickly assessing competing priorities and managing time/delegating in the moment.
- Experience in site/structural maintenance.
- An understanding of The Winter Village brand and the experiential expectations of the community is strongly preferred.
- Must demonstrate a positive and solutions-oriented approach to work.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with collaboration and partnerships across various disciplines.
- Ability to plan and strategize towards big picture objectives while keep an eye on the details.
- Strong computer literacy (Google programs).
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
