Are you an enthusiastic Events dynamo? This role is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of marketers at a fast-growing B2B company.

As the Events & Marketing Coordinator you will support the Sr. Mgr. Corporate Events & Tradeshows and the global marketing team, in all aspects of the event planning process for both in-person and virtual events. You will collaborate with Marketing & Sales, to strategize, design, and deliver events to influence the sales pipeline and drive meaningful impact for Prophix.

You will research, source, and maintain relationships with vendors such as AV providers, Lead retrieval providers, Agencies, hotels, meeting venues, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring the event runs smoothly and within budget.

**What You Will Do at Prophix**

**Event Planning**
- Planning and coordinating all aspects of events, including acting as the liaison with marketing, sales, venues, speakers, and 3rd party promoters
- Create and manage the Event Plan for each event including tracking logístical details, costs, and timelines for all event elements
- Organizing and managing venue logistics, including food and beverage, audio-visual, structure and signage for the event, within budgeted parameters
- Coordinating and following up with employees and suppliers as necessary
- Working with event speakers, sponsors and suppliers to execute their requirements before, during and after events, including arranging for travel and audio-visual requirements and shipment of materials
- Processing registration forms for events, including invoicing, collection and payment reconciliation, and tracking of registrations and lead scans into Marketing Operations for campaign assignment
- Management of the corporate Event Calendar
- ensuring information is entered timely and is continually updated.
- Reconciling final financial reporting of events
- Collecting participant feedback from events
- Be available to solve last-minute logístical issues and problems

**Event Promotion**
- Developing marketing schedules for the promotion of events and determining target audiences
- Evaluating the success of marketing initiatives and recommending changes where necessary

**Other Duties**
- Proactively research and pursue other event ideas, and create an event brief with sponsorship information, budget recommendations and level of participation.
- Performs other duties as requested

**What You Will Bring to Prophix**

**Required Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business or related discipline
- 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales and marketing environment with focus on tradeshow and events.
- Experience liaising with internal teams to identify, manage and confirm list of tradeshows, associations, and sponsorships.
- Experience managing tradeshow action items and logistics, and updating key stakeholders as necessary.
- Experience working within many events with multiple vendors.
- Experience working within Marketing teams and collaborating with Sales and Sales Management teams

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Ability to manage multiple shows/events and work under tight deadlines when necessary.
- General tech-savviness with B2B marketing technologies such as, Salesforce CRM, and a marketing automation tool such as Eloqua, and/or Marketo is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word & Excel)
- Attention to detail, exceptionally organized, and adept at project/time management to handle several projects simultaneously
- Self-starter and resourceful; strong initiative and judgment to solve problems and escalate issues when necessary
- Ability to interface effectively with others in the marketing department
- Strong writing and oral communications skills
- Experience working with local and remote sales managers
- Ability to set and work within a budget
- Ability to be available with flexible hours in response to job requirements
