We are looking to fill a permanent position of Warehouse Associate at our Victoria location. This role will also cross train in our paint/stain color mixing department with the opportunity to transition fully in the future.

**Overview**:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate dedicated to a career in the hardware industry. Your role will consist of inventory receiving, order picking/packaging, scheduling courier pick-ups, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and managing inventory accuracy. You would also be cross trained to work in our color lab mixing solid color paints and wood stains with the possibility of transitioning to full time lab technician.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload vehicles by forklift.
- Inspect deliveries and note any damages sustained from freight.
- Receive and put away stock orders.
- Pick orders for walk-in customers.
- Pick and package ship-out orders.
- Schedule couriers to pick-up shipments.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
- Routinely cycle count inventory and correct discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Cross-train in our paint lab with our color technicians and learn to mix and match custom paint and stain colors.
- Wear the appropriate PPE - steel-toed boots (mandatory), high-vis vests (while operating forklift), and respirator, eye protection, and nitrile gloves (while working in the color lab).
- Previous experience with paint and stain color mixing considered a strong asset.

**Qualifications**:

- Must currently live in Victoria or surrounding area.
- Have an approachable demeanor and positive attitude.
- Previous warehouse experience (shipping, receiving, picking).
- Attention to detail and ability to follow outlined processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and communication (English).
- Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Great computer skills (Typing, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Have an aptitude for learning and interest in personal growth.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
