**THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL**
As the Manager Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Wellbeing & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in designing, coordinating, and executing enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance employee well-being, promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and strengthen employee engagement. Working closely with the Director Talent Enablement, you will support the advancement of a purpose-driven and inclusive culture that reflects GreenShield’s strategic objectives. Through a continuous learning approach, you will remain current with evolving trends, research, and best practices in wellness, DEI, and organizational culture by engaging with professional networks, attending industry conferences, and participating in relevant training programs. This ensures that GreenShield's initiatives remain innovative, effective, and aligned with best-in-class evolution.
**Wellness (Employee Well-being & Health Initiatives)**
- Implement 2025 wellness initiatives with outcome measures on participation rates and survey feedback on key programs (programs set by quarter).
- Lead the planning and execution of wellness programs and events throughout the year.
- Develop and maintain a wellness dashboard with key metrics and insights.
- Track and report on participation and engagement impact on absenteeism, overall wellbeing outcomes and program ROI.
- Curate and manage a well-being resource hub within the company intranet (Junction).
- Support the creation of a 2025-2026 corporate-wide Wellness OKR by gathering insights and aligning stakeholders.
- Support the VP People Success & Transformation to launch and operationalize key wellness initiatives.
- Work proactively with our delivery team to seek input and bring initiatives to life
- Work collaboratively with our Health LOB to develop metrics and launch new program options
- Execute programs and initiatives based on data to impact health outcomes
**Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)**
- Refresh the DEI Blueprint and Strategy to enhance organizational inclusivity and equity that drives engagement and retention.
- Enhance Leadership Diversity to support achieving and sustaining the 50/30 challenge targets (50% gender parity and 30% representation of other equity deserving groups at our SLT+ levels)
- Develop annual mandates and plans for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in alignment with the broader DEI strategy.
- Lead the ERGs to foster a more inclusive workplace culture, improve employee engagement, and support diversity and inclusion blueprint goals measured through the inclusion score in the engagement survey.
- Serve as the administrative lead for donor requests and follow-up to ensure proper tracking and delivery.
- Manage and track the overall DEI budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Facilitate quarterly cross-ERG meetings with executive sponsors to encourage idea-sharing and coordination.
- Hold monthly working sessions with ERG co-leads and quarterly meetings with individual exec sponsors.
- Attend and represent People & Culture at key ERG meetings and events as required.
- Lead the design and implementation of DEI programs identified for 2025-2026 in the DEI Blueprint, strategy and roadmap
- Maintain and update the annual DEI calendar of events and initiatives.
- Support business initiatives and growth by providing data and statistics to RFP team as needed.
**Engagement**
- Support planning and coordination of the employee engagement survey, including:
- Refining survey questions in collaboration with internal partners.
- Partnering with VP People & Culture Business Partners on the enterprise-wide survey launch.
- Support post-survey enterprise-level action planning based on engagement results.
**Other Responsibilities**
- Oversee the company’s Glassdoor presence, including monitoring and responding as appropriate.
- Act as the point of contact for GS Cares program coordination.
- Provide oversight and administrative coordination for related vendors and programs.
- Liaise with Staff Association on budget
