**POSITION**: Analyst (Fund Administration & Insights)

**LOCATION**: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

**STATUS**: Full-time

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We are currently seeking a Research Analyst to join our CI Multi-Asset Management team.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Assist in maintaining CI Multi-Asset Management Investment Committee (CIMAM IC) research models and dashboards using fundamental, technical and valuation data sources
- Support macro/cross asset, equity, fixed income & currency and alternative CIMAM IC teams
- Support CIMAM IC on other ad hoc projects
- Broad qualitative and quantitative research support to CIMAM working with other research analysts, portfolio management and manager research teams
- Read and summarizing key external research reports
- Provide investment ideas and insights to the CIMAM IC

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- 4+ years of full-time experience in the investment industry
- Experience in a multi-asset or top-down/macro environment is preferred
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, economics, mathematics, statistics or finance.
- Completion or enrolment in CFA
- Interest in investment markets and statistical tools to analyze them
- Strong statistical academic background and abilities and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of programming languages/tools such as Python, R, Matlab a plus
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet, DataStream, Haver or similar databases.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Effective time-management and ability to learn, prioritize, and execute quickly
- Work effectively and reliably under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Solid conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Strong logic and analytical skills to clearly identify key issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
