Optical Assistant

Sea to Sky Optometry is looking for a part-time passionate and motivated **Optical Assistant** to join our dynamic team in **Pemberton, BC**.

- **Flexible hours**: our clinic operates Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm, and Saturdays 10am-4pm. We are looking for someone who is available to work Saturdays and 1-2 other days.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and schedule appointments using our electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Assist patients with frame and lens selection, using doctor recommendations and product knowledge
- Dispense and adjust glasses and contact lenses
- Provide exceptional service and communication throughout the patient journey
- Participate in community events and mobile clinics
- Help improve office workflow and patient care with initiative and creativity

**What We're Looking For**
- **Experience in the optical industry** is a strong asset
- Interest in becoming a **Certified Optometric Assistant** (we’ll support your training)
- Strong **customer service and communication skills**:

- A self-starter with **initiative and a positive attitude**:

- Passion for **community involvement** and helping others
- Willingness to learn EMR and clinic systems (training provided)

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
