**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safe Driving**: Operate flatbed trucks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- **Load and Unload**: Secure cargo on flatbed trailers using appropriate safety equipment such as chains, binders, and tarps. Assist with loading and unloading as necessary.
- **Route Planning**: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, considering traffic patterns, weather conditions, and road restrictions.
- **Maintenance**: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks, delivery receipts, and any required documentation for cargo.
- **Customer Service**: Interact professionally with clients and customers during pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- **Compliance**: Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including DOT regulations and hours of service requirements.
- **Communication**: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status, delays, or any issues encountered on the road.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience driving flatbed trucks or similar vehicles.
- **License**: Valid Class AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- **Skills**: Proficient in securing loads using chains, binders, and tarps. Excellent driving skills with the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb on and off the flatbed, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with Ontario’s roadways and traffic patterns. Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service requirements.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle unexpected situations and make decisions under pressure.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
