You want to be creative about the ways in which The Children’s Book Bank can have a positive impact on families living in the neighbourhoods the organization serves by programming fun and inclusive literacy-focused activities for visitors while also working to provide a meaningful experience for those who volunteer in our spaces.

**Regular duties include**:
*Develop and maintain contact with community partners to keep them informed about CBB programming and work on growing new partnerships

*Take the lead on volunteer management, including recruitment, training, and scheduling, insuring that volunteers feel welcomed and supported

*Collect and analyze program engagement numbers using the data to inform future programming; work alongside the communications lead to generate interest via social media, website and hard-copy promotional materials

*Assume regular storefront responsibilities including interacting with visitors, maintaining the space, working with the mall employees as needed, and overseeing program delivery.
- Meet regularly with other location managers to develop, plan and organize programming which is implemented across all CBB spaces.
- Support the work of the CBB fundraising manager by researching and developing potential funding sources in the Jane/Finch community.

**Additional responsibilities**:

- Lifting and/or organization of boxes of books (usually not weighing more than 30 lbs)
- Ability to work Saturdays (with the weekend being Sunday + Monday)

Pay: $53,000.00 per year
