**Responsibilities**: As a Housekeeping Associate at Chapel Heights Retirement Community, your responsibilities will include:

- Room Maintenance: Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces to ensure a clean and sanitary living environment. Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Linen and Laundry Care: Collect and distribute clean linens and towels as needed. Ensure laundry is done efficiently and according to established guidelines. Handle residents' personal laundry with care, respecting their privacy and preferences.
- Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas, following proper waste management protocols. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in trash storage and disposal areas.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies, including cleaning products and equipment. Inform the supervisor of any inventory needs in a timely manner.
- Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Resident Interaction: Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner, demonstrating empathy and respect. Address their housekeeping-related inquiries or concerns with professionalism and promptly notify the appropriate personnel if additional assistance is needed.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with fellow housekeeping team members and other departments. Assist in special cleaning projects, events, or other duties as assigned. Foster a positive and cooperative work environment.

**Qualifications**: To be successful in the role of Housekeeping Associate, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate an eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Ensure thoroughness and precision in all cleaning tasks.
- Physical Stamina: Possess the physical capability to perform housekeeping tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and carrying moderate loads. Uphold proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
- Dependability: Be reliable, punctual, and committed to fulfilling assigned responsibilities consistently. Exhibit a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with colleagues, showing a willingness to assist and support team members when needed. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Respect for Privacy: Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy and personal space. Display sensitivity and professionalism in handling personal belongings and resident information.
