We are a strong value based company where passion, commitment, thoroughness and mutual respect are among the core values and teamwork and professionalism is essential to the way we work. **Job Summary** **Responsibilities**: - Establishing long-term relationships with industry professionals across territory. - Meet and assess construction professional’s needs and present recommendations from a broad range of residential and commercial skylight products. - Establish long-term relationships with existing and new dealers. - Manage your sales territory by planning, and working your plan to achieve set goals. - A typical work week is 4 days on the road and 1 day working from home for planning. - Looking for new sales opportunities from existing and new customers. - Sales presentations and seminars to individuals and groups. - Installation training to professionals. Occasional servicing of installed products. - Report daily activities through established CRM reporting methods. - Work trade and home shows as needed. - Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications & Requirements** - Previous related outside sales experience is required. - Superior commitment to customer service with a focus on value-added selling. - Excellent self-management, time management and organizational skills. - Outstanding creative thinking and problem solving skills. - Strong presentation and telephone skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Ability to work on your own for extended periods of time. - Must be available to work days and some evenings/weekends. - A valid driver’s license and proof of a clean driving record required. - Knowledge of the Internet, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required. - Ability to occasionally lift >50 lbs. - Ability to climb a ladder and not be afraid of heights. **Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: To be discussed **Benefits**: This is a Salary + annual bonus position with many benefits including: a supplied company vehicle for both professional and personal use, shared group health benefits (medical/dental/vision), RRSP/DPSP program, vacation and sick day program. **Find out more about VELUX Canada at velux.ca** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay Application question(s): - Do you have a valid driver's license? - Occasionally, you will have to lift up to 50lbs to perform sales/installation demonstrations.
