Cumbrae's a specialized butcher shop and fine food store. You will be part of a team responsible for the daily production and preparation of our packaged prepared food, fresh deli items and quick service counter. - Minimum 1 years experience as a prep cook or equivalent - Motivated and organized individual, able to multitask and keep a clean working environment - Knowledge of food rotation "FIFO" and safe food handling - Basic safe handling knife skills - Ability to take direction - Ability to work in a team or individually - Able to lift up to 25 pounds or more on occasion - Able to follow recipe's and maintain standard and quality. - Perform additional tasks as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Supervisor and Management - Open/flexible availability Hourly Rate : TBD Work remotely - No **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - Store discount - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Overtime - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay **Experience**: - line/prep cook: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: One location
