**Job Description**:
**How You’ll Make an Impact**:
We are creating a new role to provide additional support to our teams and to our clients on all aspects of Sustainability, working for a Better Tomorrow. You will have a key role in delivering our ambitions across our business in Canada, reporting to the Senior Manager of Sustainability.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual who will deliver real results to make the difference at Sodexo for our people, clients, and communities.
- Support the annual Sustainability strategy, updates and development on topics related to:
- Material and Food Waste Management, Energy Management, Plant-Based Development programming, Single Use Plastic Reduction, Responsible Sourcing
- The promotion and development of Sustainability initiatives, partners, actions, and operational activities
- Activities supporting our Better Tomorrow roadmap
- Raise awareness, support, and track sustainability actions on site
- Write internal news stories to raise awareness on Sustainability topics, and celebrate achievements
- Prepare external news stories for our website, and other communications channels
- Act as primary administration coordinator for all Sustainability managing progress, data, and content
- Support the production of all report publication, including gathering content and preparing content related to Sustainability
**Qualifications**:
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:
- Contagious energy & passionate about Sustainable Development Goals and action
- Bilingual French / English; oral & written
- Hands-on, proactive, and flexible self-management skills, confident working across all levels of the organization
- Well organized, working knowledge of administrative tools, programs management, and workplace digital office tools
- Working knowledge of presentation and design tools
- Rigorous approach to data collection and analysis, performance tracking and reporting management
- Strong writing skills with ability to engage effectively with professional communication and engagement experience
- Good communicator with ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to travel 20% - 30% of your time across Canada
- Some experience working with large service organization is an asset
- Minimal operating knowledge of service industry is an asset
