We are currently looking for an **Accounting Technician** to join our team. We are searching for someone who has prior experience as an Accounting Technician or is a newly Designated Professional with experience in preparing compilations and assurance engagements as well as working with personal and corporate tax return preparation and planning. **Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing a variety of compilations
- Assisting with Personal and Corporate taxes
- Learning from and liaising with Managers and Partners on files
- Asking clients for information needed to complete the files
- Working independently, but also as a member of the team
- Keeping the Managers and Partners informed of your file progression
- Other tasks as they arise

**Your Attributes**:

- 1 to 2 years of experience as an Accounting Technician or Designated Professional in Public Practice
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Excel, Profile, Caseware and DocIt
