Responsibilities:

- Install, program, and maintain alarm systems for residential and commercial properties
- Conduct system tests to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues
- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific security needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on existing alarm systems
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding alarm system operation
- Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance performed

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Alarm Technician or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring principles
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

- alarm technician: 2 years (preferred)
- Fire Alarm: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CFAA (preferred)
- CFAA or Journyman/woman (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- St. Paul, AB: Relocate before starting work (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
