**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, the Front Office Supervisor will lead the day-to-day operations of the front desk, bell services, and hotel shuttle team. You will ensure the delivery of a memorable guest experience by leading by example with a professional and positive attitude. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests and staff, handling administrative tasks and team leadership to create an efficient and welcoming environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Front Office team to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, working closely with other departments to resolve issues.
- Provide leadership and motivation to the Front Office team, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out procedures with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure consistency in front office processes and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct new staff onboarding and training, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Support room allocation, availability, and revenue management goals through effective inventory management.
- Handle progressive corrective actions as required to maintain service excellence.
- Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of hospitality and tourism experience required.
- Previous Front Office and Property Management System (PMS) experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of Nita Lake Lodge, Creekside, and Whistler Resort is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with physically demanding tasks as needed.
