**As an Automotive Internet Sales Consultant, a typical day might include the following**:
- Manage and achieve organizational sales goals by developing a business plan that covers internet sales, revenue and expense controls via the activities and performance of the sales team
- Daily coaching of Internet Sales Managers to activities for success, informed via in-team participation throughout the day/week, ensuring sales processes are followed as designed
- Gross profit development: maintain gross profit averages while attaining sales volume targets. F&I training, development, and monitoring to ensure minimum product penetrations and margins
- Volume: continuously increase market share against Toyota dealer competitors in the GTA. Focus on target of being most sales efficient Toyota dealer in Ontario zone and growing new car sales at a faster rate than the zone average
- Set team and individual sales and customer experience targets
- Analyze data to understand sales performance and trends and reward or correct as necessary, making data-driven decisions
- Identifying Key Success Factors of top performing internet sales team and leveraging them and their skills to develop training and support for under performing salespeople
- Ensure Direct Reports are leading their teams effectively, are in control, and are delegating to maximize their own efficiency
- Training; active daily training for salespeople where contributions fall short of our goals. Must be a strong, experienced trainer
- Appraisals: deliver on appraisal expectations by utilizing vast customer portfolio and service drive.
- Generate, maintain the internet business development processes
- Active in customer follow up and active in sales process
- Be familiar with and assist customers in obtaining web-based product information
- Qualify and market to potential clients through outbound prospecting and leads management
- Drive internet traffic into the dealership, making appointments for interested customers, and continuously following up throughout the buying process
- Previous experience with CRM (Reynolds, VinSolutions) is considered an asset
**This job might be right for you if**:
- You have previous experience in an automotive sales role.
- Valid Driver's License
- You are a self-starter, has multi-tasking and prioritizing skills, interpersonal and team building skills, problem solving and decision making skills, excellent communication skills (including verbal, listening, writing.
- You are self-motivated and driven.
- You have a passion for customer service.
- You have obtained your OMVIC certification (mandatory)
- You use your strong communication skills to develop buyers by building and maintaining rapport with customers.
- You volunteer for new challenges and responsibilities, all while maintaining high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
