Our organization is currently seeking a positive, outgoing, team oriented individual to fill the position of Operations Supervisor. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Supervisor is appointed or recruited to oversee a group of workers, and to monitor and guide their results in delivering quality service to a client or department.
**Job Duties**:

- Dispatch
- Coordinate equipment, employees, and maintenance by creating and maintaining effective and efficient communications and scheduling.
- attend all site orientation as well as ride-a-longs with Employees.
- monitor and review the scheduling of drivers and report back to the Tuc’s General Manager on improvements that may be needed.
- ensure the effective running of Tail Gate and Tool Box safety meetings. This position will require you to become familiar with policies and procedures such as pre
- and post-trip inspections.

**Skills/Experience**
- Experience in truck transportation. water hauling or sewer services would be an asset.
- A minimum 5 Years supervisory or managerial experience is required, preferably gained in an equipment, Truck-Transport or related field. A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a definite advantage.

**Position Requirements**:

- Must be well organized and highly capable of prioritizing tasks, and effectively communicating to work groups on the status of set tasks and work requests
- Fluency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, or Outlook Express
