Job description - assisting in general operation of the gallery
- Working knowledge of artistic practices and mediums
- Customer service - Cheerful, friendly service to all clients, big and small
- Sales transactions - operating cash register, packaging fragile art pieces
- Maintaining inventory in the gift area
- Assisting with ordering new inventory
- Assisting with curating new pieces for the gallery
- Assisting with planning and preparing for new exhibits
- Comfortable with hanging art work and moving sculptures, displays etc.
- Assisting with social media and promotion
- Representing the gallery in a professional manner to clients and our partners
- Cleaning - dusting, sweeping, cleaning floors
- Comfortable in a both a busy environment and times when it is slow
- Willing to work weekends

We can offer a unique experience of a boutique gallery that caters to a wide range of customers, artists, artisans and business partners, in a flexible, comfortable environment.

Dress - business casual.

Hours - Currently - Tuesday to Sunday 10 - 6. Closed Mondays.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 - 40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
