Our core strengths are rooted in our team, our innovation and our customers. **Job Summary**: The Ladies team is looking for an **Assistant Design Coordinator** to be responsible for supporting Design/Production and Sales in the development of our brand and always staying abreast of trends and product novelty to increase style options. **Responsibilities**: - Create style number in system and organized all developments to pass to factories to create SMS - Participate in cad creation requested by sales team - Participate in trend ideas and product novelty; - Keep on top of development calendar and approvals, support each collection; - Update development line sheet; - Update computer system, follow up with customers, factories and coordinate with Team for any style updates of product development - Meets time requirements for each phase of Samples required for collection by following up on SMS directly with factories - Communicate with factories about product and initiates the tech pack process, completing all detail “call outs” of the product development. Proof reads all TP’s and insures they are correct and are going out on time. - Keep on top of development calendar and approvals, support each collection; - Update development line sheet - Participate in style ideas for specific commodity while Assisting VP of ladies Sales and Production Director. - Assist Sales with customers and any other project given by VP of sales. **Qualifications**: - 2-5 years of experience in Fashion Design - Detailed oriented, self-motivated - Passionate about fashion and customers; understands the dynamics of fashion trends; interprets fashion to fit under the Direction set forth, the key internal players, all the way through customer’s desires. - Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, has a reputation of being fast with the identification and development of trends and concepts within their area of responsibility of commodities. - Ability to translate fashion direction into best sellers, comfortable, wearable, styling, that is wanted by the customers and works back into the key vision and key outfits identified by the VP Of sales - Strong team orientation, ability to interact with others in ways that build and maintain cooperative working relationships. - Ability to organize and prioritize the work flow. - A proactive approach to identify and reacting to issues. - Tech Sketch/Capabilities. - French - English a must (Bilingualism) **Salary: TBD** *** Pay: $34,285.34-$50,378.49 per year **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Store discount Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - design: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
