**JOIN OUR VANCOUVER TEAM** Pacific Coastal Airlines is looking for a **permanent full-time AME "M" Line Maintenance Supervisor**. This position is based out of a hangar located near the South Terminal building at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the AME "M" Line Maintenance Supervisor is a functional leadership position responsible for providing supervision, direction, support and training to all Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Apprentices at the Vancouver base. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Coordinate and supervise the maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul and alteration of all aircraft and aeronautical products placed under his/her charge - Supervise daily operations to ensure timely completion of all maintenance related activities and tasks, thus providing safe and reliable aircraft for on-time performance - Provide guidance, coaching and direction to all maintenance personnel - Ensure that all airworthiness directives, inspections and other tasks are completed properly and on time - Ensure all maintenance operations are conducted in a structured, organized, efficient fashion, without sacrificing safety and/ or quality standards - Provide leadership, training and performance management to all team members - Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures - Ensure that sufficient materials, special tools and equipment are available at all times - Develop methods of monitoring and improving productivity - Provide guidance and technical support to Avionics personnel - Plan maintenance downtime in coordination with the Maintenance Manager - Ensure that Service Difficulty Reports are submitted on time - Continually strive to maintain state of the art technical knowledge of the business and aviation industry - Other duties as assigned **QUALIFICATIONS**_:_** **_ Education & Experience_** - Transport Canada Maintenance Engineer's License - A minimum of 5 years' working experience as a Licensed AME - Category "M" - Previous supervisory and training experience is a strong asset **_ Skills, Knowledge & Abilities_** - Knowledge of applicable regulations and legislation such as CARs, Canada Labour Code, etc. as well as how regulatory bodies operate and interrelate - Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills - Planning, forecasting, goal setting, budgeting and financial analysis skills - Ability to support, coach, mentor, develop, and inspire others - Intermediate technical skills in Microsoft Office - Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills - Flexible to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays) including overnight travel **WHY PACIFIC COASTAL AIRLINES?** - Collaborative and inclusive work environment - Excellent work-life balance - Competitive compensation structure based on experience starting at $48.01 per hour, up to $51.97 per hour - Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) pay, up to $520 per month - Tool/Boot Allowance, up to $500 a year - Extended Health/Medical Benefits - Vacation days and additional pay sick days & family emergency days - Travel Benefits & corporate discounts - Group RRSP with company matching - Employee recognition and reward programs All internal applicants must be meeting performance expectations in their current role in order to be considered.
