**Overview of Position**
- The Program Lead is responsible for overseeing the operations, growth, and development of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Humboldt (BBBSH) satellite program and to ensure up-to-date information flow with the Saskatoon office

**Key Responsibility Areas**
- Fundraising _
- Ensure there is adequate financial support from the community to sustain the BBBSH satellite program.  Annual plans for this will be reviewed with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- Volunteer Recruitment _
- Oversee the annual recruitment of volunteer mentors.  Annual plans for this will be reviewed with the CEO.
- Programming_
- Gather community feedback on programming needs and work with the Manager of Service Delivery (MSD) to pursue the best course of action for mentoring programs for the children and youth of Humboldt
- Operations _
- Supervise the operations of the local Humboldt office.  This includes preparing budget and programming plans for the upcoming year for review with the CEO and MSD.
- Soliciting and working with vendors when appropriate for office operational needs.
- Work with the CEO and MSD regarding staffing positions needed and how best to address
- Partnership Development _
- Work to build relationships with providers and stakeholders for the purpose of advancing the mission of BBBSH and aligning the work to the youth identified priorities.

**Job Related Competencies**

- _Financial Literacy_- understand financial documents, able to budget, and write reports based on these.

**Position Requirements**
- Required Knowledge _
- Proficient Office 365 programs.
- Education _
- Training specific to understanding human growth and development, appropriate life experience, and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in the areas of child and youth care, family studies, volunteer management, education, sociology, psychology, social work, or Indian social work.
- Two-year diplomas in those areas including Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies’ Mental Health and Wellness Program will also be considered where
