**What You Will Do**:
As the **Manager, Communications**, you will play an essential role within our Corporate Services & Stakeholder Relations Department, reporting to the Vice President. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing effective internal and external communication strategies and plans;
- Managing company media interactions, including providing direction on media opportunities, responding to media inquiries, and acting as Company spokesperson;
- Creating and executing strategies to increase employee awareness and engagement;
- Preparing internal communication materials (presentations, speaking notes, newsletters, intranet, key messages etc.);
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders; and
- Providing strategic communications advice to Company senior management.
**What You Will Bring**:
Required qualifications:
- University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business or equivalent;
- Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is preferred;
- Greater than five (5) years’ of professional communications experience and greater than three (3) years’ experience in a managerial role;
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License;
- Skilled in research and analysis of media data; and
- Advanced knowledge in social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite including SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- High level of organizational and planning skills.
