**Position Title**:Compensation Analyst
**Location**:Oakville, ON.
**Summary**:If you like HR and are good with numbers and Excel, this could be the first step in an exciting new career path As a Compensation Analyst, you will work closely with the Compensation Manager to develop and deliver our organization’s compensation programs and strategies. You will collaborate with HR and business leaders to provide guidance and ensure our compensation policies and practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our strategic goals. You will be accountable for conducting research, analyzing, and implementing a variety of compensation processes and programs across North America. You will be a point person for company-wide initiatives such as the annual market review and will participate in setting salary ranges and administering our annual merit and short-term incentive programs.

**Responsibilities**:
Compensation Analysis and Benchmarking:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of industry trends, market data, and competitive benchmarking to ensure our compensation offerings remain competitive, attractive and equitable.
- Analyze job roles, responsibilities, and market trends to develop and maintain accurate job descriptions and job classifications.
- Evaluate and recommend changes to compensation structures, salary ranges, and incentive programs based on data-driven insights.
Salary Planning and Review:
- Assist in the development and execution of annual salary planning processes, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Collaborate with HR business partners to provide guidance and recommendations on compensation-related matters for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
- Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results.
Incentive Programs:
- Support the design, implementation, and administration of incentive and bonus programs, including sales commissions and performance-based incentives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of incentive programs and make data-backed recommendations for improvements as needed.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and pay equity laws.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation to support compensation-related audits and reporting requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to compile, analyze, and present compensation data, trends, and insights to HR leadership and senior management.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on compensation metrics and trends to support decision-making.
- Maintain compensation program attributes in the HRIS system.
Communication and Employee Support:
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to communicate compensation-related policies, practices, and changes to employees.
- Provide support to employees and managers regarding compensation inquiries, issues, and concerns.
Other:
- Provide support to the Compensation Manager with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required.
- Some travel is required in the role.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred in a relevant field such as business, human resources, or other related field.
- CCP designation or progress toward designation an asset.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience preferably in compensation or in a related analytical role in human resources.
- Advanced Excel Skills are required.
- Basic knowledge of salary administration, compensation policies, practices and regulatory requirements.
